I am writing on behalf of my dear friend, Maria.
I have known her since 1991 as a friend and a coworker. She is in desperate need of medical help to save her life. Maria is in excruciating, debilitating pain. Whereas she was once vibrant, extremely active, working, a gifted musician, and involved in the dramatic arts, she now is unable to barely leave her bed.
Her case has been described as "very rare" by a host of physicians. We are hoping to find someone who will not only accept her as a patient, but also possibly, discover a surgical procedure or be able to teach others, on how to help a patient with her disease. Please give consideration to our request on her behalf.

Life is short and we all know it. Life is wonderful, but it is also fragile. We never know what our future will bring, so we must embrace each moment as it arrives.
