Suffers.....unable to find a doctor willing to take her case

To Whom It May Concern:

I have known Maria since 1990 and she has been like a sister to me.  We
have lived in the same house on and off for a few years and have spent a lot of time
together.  Up until this sickness began, she lived a very active, fulfilling life, which was full of vibrancy and travel.  She is fortunate to have travelled so extensively.
Maria's work, ministry and talent in performing  music has taken her all over the country and the world.  Maria has even performed at the Governor’s Manson in Montana. I know Maria's dream (once she has her health back) is to finish a CD she has already begun.

Your suffering is to the point where you are bed ridden and in unbearable pain -
almost every hour of every day. This is the opposite of her life before this
disease began.  She has had multiple surgeries and has seen many doctors, but her health continues to get worse, as does the pain level.  No person should have to endure the pain that she lives with every day.  She can barely eat. And she is completely dependent on other people to go to the store for her to buy food, because her pain prevents her from doing even simple tasks.   In fact, she is dependent on others for everything in her life.  This is so sad and it breaks my heart.

Recently, she found a doctor, who specialized in her illness, and she was hopeful he would take her on as a patient. Unfortunately, after intensely researching her case, he realized that it was too complicated for he and his team.  He turned her down.

She keeps hitting roadblocks and walls and is unable to find a doctor willing to take her case.  I find this to be an incredible injustice that no doctor is willing to help her.  She is getting worse every day and to watch her continue to suffer and decline from this disease is almost unbearable not only for her, but also for her family and friends that love her so dearly.

Please consider the opportunity of taking her on as a patient.  There must be surgeries or medicine that will help her.  We hope that the “right” doctor has just not yet discovered the solution.

Please help Maria.  Her life is worth living and she has not received proper care.

Thank you,
T.W.
